It was a tight Presidential race at Seward Elementary

Grades 3 – 6 Voted

  • Obama/Biden – 72
  • Romney/Ryan 73
  • Johnson/Gray (Libertarian)

 Veterans Day

  • The Dress Rehearsal is set for 9:30 in the gym  on Friday, Nov. 9th.
  • Friday, Nov. 9th: Primary lunch at 11:00.  Upper grade lunch 11:30
  • The performance for the public is Friday at 12:00 noon.

 Student Leadership Team: 

 Basketball starts toDAY!  Make sure you have your permission slips and fees turned into the office.  Come dressed appropriately and ready to play.  Your ride must be arranged for 4:15 sharp.

 All of the 6 word novels have been posted.  Votes will be accepted from November 5th through 9th.  Ballots will be available from Ms. Lind or the office beginning on Monday, 11/5. 

 GuitarPractices have changed from Thursday to Tuesdays in November.  Bring your guitar today and meet in the music room at 12:00.

 Welcoming All Fifth and Sixth Graders to Art Club run by Madi Athey and Lilly Watkins!

Wednesdays at noon in the science lab.

 Music News!  Every Friday in November, The Seahawk’s Voice will be having a musical babysitting session from 5pm-7pm.  Cost is $10 per child (only $5/hour!).

Keep Recycling: Pick up on Wednesdays.

TYC and Park and Rec Happenings

  • Tri-Fun-A-Thon Fri, Nov 16th; 6 – 11pm. TYC FUNdraiser. After raising money for the TYC 5 – 6th graders are invited to dance, swim and skate. Great prize for the top fundraiser! 4th graders are also welcome ask Maggie for details 224-4054.
  • 5th / 6th grade Holiday social Semi Formal Dance at the TYC Fri, Dec 7th from 7 to 9pm $5 at the door.

“Schools Out” Vacation and Day Camps

Mon to Fri   7:45 am to 5:30 pm Join us for days filled with fun!  Field Trips, Arts & Crafts, Baking & Cooking, Outdoor Fun, Gym Time, Movies & Popcorn, Treats & Prizes, Team-Building Games, Computer Games And More!

Camp Info: Campers need to bring a lunch, morning & afternoon snacks or money for the Snack Shack Early registration is encouraged as limited space available. Camps are non-transferable and non-refundable Winter Break Camp 1Week of Dec 24 to 28 (no camp Dec 25); Winter Break Camp 2 – Week of Dec 31 to Jan 4 (no camp Jan 1)
