Seward Elementary’s PE department is having another “Y-Ties” fund raiser.

This year our fund raiser will start on Monday, November 4th.

“Y-Ties” are twist and twirl elastic shoe laces. Just think, no more dragging, untied, unsafe, laces! They are fun, colorful, stylish, and practical. They come in 35 colors, and are $5.00 for the 52 inch pair and $6.00 for the 72” pair. The 52 inch size fits most shoes and sneakers. The 72” are boot length and are great for hiking and winter boots.

Y-Ties make great stocking stuffers and gifts! Buy more than one pair! All proceeds go to supporting Seward Elementary Schools PE program.

Basketball starts November 5th. If you played another sport this year, you already have a permission slip and do not need to turn in another. Check the list on the front counter for your name – if you are on it, you do not need another permission slip, just your fee!

The Seward Tsunami Swim Club is hosting a fun swim/tryouts and informational meeting on Sunday, November 3rd from 4:00-5:30pm at the Seward High School Pool for all interested swimmers and parents. Club membership eligible for swimmers ages 5-18.

Have you been running around outside playing with your friends? Keep tracking your physical activity on your Healthy Futures log. If you need another log, extras are located outside of Mrs. Lyon and Mrs. Fabian’s room. Please turn in completed logs to your teacher by Tuesday, November 4. This month’s incentive is a flyer disc!

Check the Lost & Found – you might find something that belongs to you!
