Update! School will be in session Friday, March 10 As you are aware, Thursday February 16th was a Snow Day.  As per Board Policy, we are required to make up that day of missed instruction.  The staffs and administrators of all four impacted schools met and discussed the best option for make-up and overwhelmingly agreed on Friday, March 10th, which had initially been scheduled as an in-service day prior to the beginning of Spring Break.  The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District has approved our plan.

Please send your child(ren) to school on Friday, March 10th.

We recognize that many of you may already have made plans with your families for Friday, March 10th.  The administrators are aware and sympathetic to your family needs.  If you are planning to take your child(ren) out of school of Friday, March 10th, then please contact the office directly and we will excuse their absence.

Volleyball Starts Tuesday, February 28th & runs till Tuesday, April 4.

The team will meet in the gym Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, and Thursday’s from 3:15 to 4:15

Coaches: Mr. Fraad & Mrs. Deboard. If you have not signed up for any other sport this school year, then you will need to fill out a registration packet.  None is required if you have participated in a sport activity already.  Your fee is due by the first day of practice.

Try this little trick.  Try to hum while holding your nose.  You can’t do it, can you.  What comes out sounds like a whale mating call.  Humming is the resonance of air through the nose and throat passages.  This breathing is a form of acoustic resonance and the vibrations produce the humming sound.  By blocking the exit of air, a hum is stopped.

The word “bankrupt” is from the Italian banca rotta, literally “broken bench.” In the years of early banking, people who exchanged, stored, and lent money did their business in the public marketplace at a bench. If the manTTYC & SEWARD PARKS & REC NEWS:
